"Poor service: I booked this room for my 76 yr-old father who was traveling from BC, Canada. (Nov 14, 2022) When he arrived on the property, he asked the manager/owner for use of the bathroom (after his 6-hr car ride) before checking-in. This manager yelled at him to go to some bathroom outside. He was painfully rude and demeaning. "It’s a heritage hotel & has beautiful building /dining area but, reception area & rooms are not upgraded for standard of a 4 star hotel . Also there is the issue of smell & noise due to the location. There were also mosquitoes in the room & bathroom so do ask for all out to be plugged in the room before your check in .also we had to call maintenance to fix the showers as there were no water pressure on the first day of check in . "The staff made me pay for all days of stay upfront. When I wanted to change my mind and get a refund the management didn't co-operate.
