"This was an exceptionally unique property. Dhananjay is the hotel owner and part of the heritage family. He was very kind and accommodating from the moment I booked the stay. He arranged rides when needed and it was easy to order food/drinks during open kitchen hours. Buffet style breakfast was included. Very good food with both local and western options! We got thirds. I was incredibly lucky to celebrate Holi in Jaipur with my family. The hotel had quite a lovely intimate party in their garden....

"Poor service: I booked this room for my 76 yr-old father who was traveling from BC, Canada. (Nov 14, 2022) When he arrived on the property, he asked the manager/owner for use of the bathroom (after his 6-hr car ride) before checking-in. This manager yelled at him to go to some bathroom outside. He was painfully rude and demeaning. "We had a great stay! The rooms were spacious, well kept and the whole property was maintained very well. The staff was very friendly and took care of us. The concierge and front desk were helpful to arrange a tour guide and activities as needed. We enjoyed the morning walk around the Jaipur old city, our day touring Amer Fort and the City Palace, as well as a mini-safari at the Jhalana Leopard Reserve with guides from the hotel. Would comfortably recommend a stay at the Samode Haveli. "

"The staff made me pay for all days of stay upfront. When I wanted to change my mind and get a refund the management didn't co-operate. This is no way a fair deal, there was unnecessary loss of money. The staff and the service was OK.
