"Excellent in many ways, clean and tidy and well appointed. It would have been better if there was a toilet on the mezzanine as my wife has to use a walking stick and the bannister did not go all the way to the ground floor. Inconvenient at night if you wished to use the toilet.The road was noisy at times.The booking agency did not provide entry details before we arrived. The neighbours were very helpful."

"Thank you for being our first home in New Zealand. The old school house was a perfect fit for my family. Enough space for everyone to have a place to call theirs. And the peaceful location not far from town was welcoming. Not far from TK or Dargaville, made for a nice first home. Thank you for having us. "

"We were impressed by the cleanliness of the cottage. On arrival we discovered tomatoes ripening on the window sill, scrummy fresh bread, a fruit bowl full of fruit, a selection of cereals, butter, jam, milk - to name a few. This is a wonderful place to escape to. It is quiet and peaceful, with huge views over the river and beyond.The only downside was no TV and no doors on the bedrooms, but that didn't worry us, and the reasonable price took this into consideration. Good wifi...
