"A good stopover in a quaint english pub. Nice lady to show me round. Disappointing that I couldnt get a pint after work ie 10pm, tho that seems the norm around Maldon at this time of year. "

"The evening meal, the bed and above all the staff were exceptional. A special mention to the American lady at breakfast time. A few details may need addressing : no plug for the hairdryer near the dressing table in the Junior Suite and not great lighting for doing your make up…maybe a desk lamp… The whole place is immaculate. Would definitely recommend."
