"This was a lovely find in the centre of town. Prices on Hotels.com were extremely competitive than booking directly with the hotel! The “standard room” was large and airy as was the bathroom, which included a rainfall shower over the bath and a handheld shower too! Complimentary tea/coffee/milk sachets were included and an iron with ironing board and hairdryer were also in the room. A lovely modern feel, was lively in the town until about 2am being a bank holiday wknd, but we enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night & on a week night, it was very quiet in the evening. Ideally located for shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes and even a small park open until 9pm. Will definitely be returning in the near future. Only downside was parking! We have a disability blue badge, so was able to park for 3 hrs outside hotel. Of an evening you can park outside from 8pm-8am free of charge, but longer times you will need to use the towns car park."

"A great hotel with Free Parking and good Pool & Gym facilities. The breakfast was excellent and the room was comfortable. The bed we had wasn't the best but I have stayed in Holiday Inns before and never had that issue so I would put that down to bad luck. I would stay at this hotel again in future. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

"A hidden gem. Our room had been recently refurbished and had a comfy bed, decent tv, and a squeaky clean bathroom. The room is spacious and has new carpeting. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was freshly made to order and excellent. Great value. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area. It’s obvious that the owners take pride in their business. Oh yes, and there’s a pub attached for a nice cold one after a long days travel. "
