"Room was small but very tidy, it had everything we needed. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but ok for one night. The view was amazing, high over other houses the countryside stretched for miles. Don’t book if you don’t like heights. Unfortunately there was something making a noise all night (heating, A/C, water) I don’t know what but it sounded like a heart beat all night long and kept me awake. "Parking was limited to 3 narrow spaces at the rear of the guesthouse but there is the option of residents parking in a nearby street (we were given a residents parking permit). We were in an en-suite room in the basement, with use of the fridge and microwave in the basement kitchen area which was useful. There were a couple of cobwebs in the corners of the room but the shower, toilet, sink and bed were spotless. Breakfast was great, with a varied menu. The dining room was clean and welcoming....

"A couple of downsides - stairs rather steep and a little dimly lit for an elderly lady and not sure sound proofing in rooms is that good but otherwise very enjoyable stay with very accommodating hosts "

"Beautiful B&B on a hill, but walkable to the bay and wharf and many dining options. The Bay Area is a little tacky with pin ball, casinos bars etc, but we had a very nice dinner at a spot called “Local” and it was walking distance to our lodging."

"A truly wonderful find. The Woterfront House was perfect from start to finish. We managed to park right outside the door and didn’t move the car for two whole days. It was in the most perfect location. We had the nook room, small but so clean and had everything we could possibly need, even homemade cookies!! Delicious. "The apartment is a home from home and has everything you’d need! We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! Comfortable beds, great location although did get a little noisy at times! "

"We had the best time onboard, we are a family of 5 staying 4 nights, there was plenty of room and the cleanliness and facilities were outstanding, glen and Emma are so lovely and brought fresh bottles of water, milk, bread. "My stay at the lbis hotel was very pleasant. Right away the receptionist was polite and friendly. My room was very clean and everything worked. Parking is limited under the hotel but there is loads of parking around the hotel on surface roads. I found that the breakfast layout didnt flow as well as other hotels but the staff more than made up for and picking i can say. "
