We truly felt right at home. The owner John is a proper NZ gentleman and was so very nice. We walked to everything and watched fireworks right across from the beach. Pretty amazing all around. "Wonderful stay and great quiet spot at Paihia next to the beach and a few mins walk to the town centre. Bed was very comfortable and service was ace with Jimmy dropping off our luggage to the bus stop as our shuttle to Auckland was in th afternoon. Functional laundry room which was convenient with fish and chips, petrol stop and superrettenext door. Thank you Jimmy and hope to be ack again soon! "
