"We had 6 glorious weeks in The Kereru’s Nest. Fay and James were wonderful hosts. A real home from home (with a pool, wonderful views, friendly locals, superb beach etc etc). I really miss the Old Packhouse Saturday market in Kerikeri and the splendid workout that the driveway gave us (we made it a daily ritual to walk down and back up again to get in our “steps”). Plenty of walks/tramps in the vicinity too for when we wanted to be more active. Thoroughly recommend. "

"Steep gravel drive, no cellphone reception with spark, no TV signal, no curtains for privacy using futon, communication from host was slow at best, host left a lovely bottle wine on arrival . As we did not have a vehicle, we loved being walking distance from the Kerikeri Basin, with the Stone Store and Kemp House so close, plus the lovely waterfall walk. "Loved our stay here at this well appointed apartment tucked away in a quiet semi rural part of Kerikeri. Comfy beds, full kitchen and lovely lounge space to relax in. Outlook from the apartment is to a huge lawn with lots of trees. There was even an outside swinging day bed to relax on if weather permits, which it did for us! Also was great to meet our hosts who made us feel welcome. We would love to return next time we are headed north."
