"The apartment is great for a family as it is spacious and has access to a pool and playground. It was also very clean and the balcony has a lovely view so perfect for meals. If there are mobility issues, it might take some effort to walk up the hill after a night in the centre of Ericeira but it's only a 15 minute walk otherwise. It would have been good to have a washing machine."

"Rita, our Hostess, was very accommodating! She had great suggestions of where to visit the best beaches, wineries, castles and palaces (Royal Palace at Mafra). We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities of the apartment and especially the rooftop deck. The sunsets from the deck and the sounds of the surf will always be in our memories. Thank you, Rita and thank you to your wonderful father-in-law, Joaquim, for making us feel so very welcome in Ericiera. Obrigado"

While the town and beaches are only 1-2 miles away it is not a comfortable walking distance for easy access therefor a car or uber is recommended. "We had a great stay at this modern apartment - it’s much bigger than the photos suggest. It’s in a convenient location - only about 10 mins walk to the centre of Ericeira or to South beach, which we preferred over the town beach. The pool is a good size with sea views and often we had it to ourselves. The apartment has useful things like condiments and dishwasher tabs - and the pool table and table football are good fun for teens and adults."
