We were there in November, so it was cold in communal areas but room was fine. We had a free upgrade which was nice - however, no lights on in room - opened door and another door to open immediately in front of us, we felt our way in to find a light switch only to find we were standing at the edge of the top of a flight of stairs! "I travel a lot for both work and leisure, but Matthew at the front desk of the Loxton Brussels is easily the most helpful and friendly reception member I have ever encountered. They should write the "reception" manual based on his work. The hotel itself is lovely with large rooms, retro fitted but very clean and everything you could need. 10 mins walk to the Grand Place but away from the noise etc. and 5 mins walks to Brussels Nord station. I would stay there again without hesitation. "
