"The large historic house is very beautiful and has a very interesting history that the hosts are happy to share with guests. The accommodations were very nice and comfortable and the cook to order breakfast was delicious! We would love to stay again!"

"Property was full of character, arrived after a long drive to be quickly served dinner, happened to be steak night and food was delicious and a very generous size portion. Room was comfortable and had a great sleep. breakfast was also delicious, scrambled eggs cooked perfectly, not the solid rubbery type found in many establishments. will definitely stay again if in the area. "Only a bed for the night but very pleasant old pub with friendly helpful service and cosy room, sadly had to leave before breakfast so can’t comment on food but I would book again for a longer stay in future as it’s a beautiful part of the country to explore"

Comfortable and warm beds in a beautiful place (we stayed in the stable cottage) with everything thought of - we had tea and home made flapjack waiting for us in the room and more breakfast than we really needed but it was so delicious! "The Knighton Hotel is quiet and well-located. Unfortunately, they don't do meals, although they do have a coffee shop, which I didn’t try as I was out allday walking. The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room. When I reported it I was instantly moved to another and larger room (turned out the leak was coming from the shower in the room above). Good service there. "What a gem. Clean, welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Communication was fantastic and found the property with no trouble. A home from home and will definitely return when in this beautiful area again."

"Overall good stay Checkin is 3-6pm which I didn’t realise during booking. Had to phone and wait to get let in as it’s all locked up. Can arrange a late checkin prior which I’ll do in future. The front rooms are within hearing of the village clock but didn’t give much issue. Rooms were good, plently if hot water and nice cooked breakfast from the friendly host Tim. "

"Lovely location. Good parking for car. Big house near farms. Host welcoming. The breakfast was good and room very comfortable. The only downside was the smell of damp dog that permeated throughout the house. We kept the bedroom windows opened all the time. "

"Great accommodation, very clean and well equipped 😊 Our hostess Jane was lovely. This was ideal for our weekend in and around Ludlow. Would definitely recommend annd return. Only slight drawback, is that there is no on site parking if this is very important for you. But there is cheap parking only a couple of minutes away. It was not a problem for us. "
