"Well located, room was okay bathroom a little on the small side but was clean. Felt room needed updating slightly but again was clean and functional. Would have preferred a room on the back of property as there was a bit of noise during the night with people talking and laughing but again not a big problem. Breakfast was nice and food cooked well."

"We rated the White Hart as an excellent place to stay, we could not fault it. The bedroom overlooked the river, was large, clean and tidy. We had a meal in the restaurant the first night which was very good, the staff were friendly and service was great. The breakfast was a full English and we also requested porridge which was not on the menu, however the staff brought it in the following morning especially for us. The White Hart is in the centre of Ironbridge and close to all other attractions."

"I was in Knighton for a wedding and had a great stay at The Red Lion. The owners were very welcoming and nice to chat to, the room was simple but nice and clean, the hotel is in a great location and breakfast was great. I wish I had stayed longer after seeing how lovely the surrounding area is!"

"23A High Street is a timber framed mid terrace cottage with ancient beams exposed inside. It is highly decorated with knickknacks with a hare theme.Knighton is a small very hilly quiet town. I had no difficulty finding free street parking, but spaces are limited. Tom loves to meet new guests, and he allows them free use of his well equipped kitchen. I will go again if there is another log show at Builth Wells (40 minutes drive) "

"As a history geek and a crafter, I immediately fell in love with this place, perched up on a hill, clearly seen from the main road. The current owners Ken and Sarah have lovingly restored the house to its 19th century elegance, whilst maintaining the 16th century Tudor elements. The communal rooms are comfortable, the bedrooms all have a theme, I was in the pretty bird room. Excellent breakfast and there's a great pub 3 miles down the road, The Nag's Head, for dinner. "Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com"
