"This was our second trip to Luray, first was about 6 years ago. The location is just where we wanted to be, in the country. Lots of Deer and Turkey were just next door and the Skyline Drive was only a few miles away, so riding my motorcycle to and from was a piece of cake. The house has everything you need and was so relaxing we didn't want to leave. I can't say enough about this property and we can't wait to come back!!"

"This cabin needs much work, i understand where it is you will have mice and critters but the cabin has alot of mouse droppings that are not cleaned up , the pots and pans to use for cooking are in poor condition, we weren't able to use the grill no propane, the microwave had mouse droppings coming out of the vent , the wooden deck has boards coming up , and the door lock is not very secure . "We went for a quick getaway, and are already planning a longer trip back with our kids. The staff were so helpful (we forgot all our toiletries) and the setting was gorgeous. It’s a lodge in a national park, not a luxury retreat in Aspen, so accommodations fit the setting, but all in all we were really happy. The only ding is that the mattress wasn’t *great* but we were fine. "
