"Myself and my partner decided to stay at the Champton for a weekend visit to Hanoi. We were warmly greated on arrival by Lily (reception staff) she promptly sorted our paperwork out and we headed up to our room. The room was on the 6th floor on the street view side, the room was clean and tidy and had a fair stock of snacks and drinks in the mini bar (not free) but not expecting to be free.. The hotel itself is in a great location, we adventured out in all directions and wasn't disappointed in what we stumbled across in the local area. Breakfast was as good as any I've had anywhere, for the 3 days we had breakfast I had 3 very different breakfast meals, but always finished with a chocolate and banana pancake and a very strong Vietnamese coffee . If I were to be critical, all I would say is the pool area was a little tired, but we weren't there to lounge on a rooftop all day, so that literally all I can put.. Truth is, yes I'd recommend the Champton for a stay, Thank you to the Champton staff for making our visit to Hanoi a truly pleasant one... "

"Best experience of any hotel or resort we have ever experienced. First class service worth a smile. The hotel staff, from the Bell Hops, to the Front Desk, to the Room Attendants, to the Spa Staff, to the Kitchen Staff, all approached their duties with such enthusiasm and sincerity. They were professional yet warm. My husband and I both celebrated our birthdays during our stay. They arranged special birthday celebrations for each of us. They made us feel like family. Our king-sized suite with a street view balcony was just like their photos. The bed was so welcoming and comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and never seemed to run out of hot water. It was nice to have bottled water included each day. The decor was beautiful and elegant. We did not want for anything. The location was excellent: in the Old Quarter, but not on a busy street. All attractions were walkable. If you ever find yourself wanting to visit an Asian country, We would highly recommend you look to come to Vietnam. Make Hanoi your first stop. We did it for 10 days and loved it. We also recommend you stay at JM MARVEL HOTEL AND SPAR RESORT in the Old Quartet. You will love it. "
