"Had a really nice stay at this villa. It’s tucked away in a small town about 20 minutes outside of Sintra and offers a lot of privacy. The view of the ocean is stunning and the hosts are very responsive. Some wine and snacks were there already upon our arrival which was much appreciated after a long flight.The electricity in the house limits all of the heaters running at once but you can swap between the bedrooms and the common areas as needed. "I would highly recommend this place. However, if you are traveling in the winter, you should know that there is no central heating and there are only two portable electric radiators to warm the apartment. So, it got pretty cold. There is also know laundry machine, so if you are traveling with kids for a longer stay, that can be problematic. Other than those two things, the place is perfect. So if those are not an issue, then you should 100% try and book this property. "

"A really nice property in a great location for exploring the area. Within easy reach of Lisbon and other areas for day trips; it's about 20 minutes from Seixal ferry. Fantastic welcome from Sandra, the host. It felt like we stayed with a friend. She was so helpful when my spouse had a dental emergency - Sandra sorted us put an appointment straight away - even on a Saturday! " Avoid Vita Portucale and this house !!!!! Our stay for 1 week was a disaster. We didn’t receive the correct address, and no one was there to greet us. The house was dirty, poorly equipped, and had multiple issues: a filthy pool, leaking faucet, unusable washing machine, ant-infested mattresses and dirty, and low water pressure, toilet was blocked for all the week. "This house was perfect for our group of friends and family! The management company was warm, welcoming and very easy to communicate with. The location was walking distance to the beach and great restaurants. We loved our stay! Thank you. "

"We booked this because I wanted to be near the sea = we were actually high up on a rocky promontory but that was fine, view was great and we were not in the midst of loads of people. One issue is parking - we had no trouble but I can see during busy times that there may be. But there seems to be enough, just need to be creative. The house was clean and has everything - no AC but with the sea air, probably no need,. It does take time to get used to the European way of heating water for showers...

"This was a wonderful home base for our stay in Lisbon. Right next to a stadium and a grocery store as well as walkable to the metro. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. Special little touches made us feel great, and they were able to give us breakfast to make up for the pool being closed due to the storms that wrecked the pool covering, not their fault at all but they did what they could to make us happy! Breakfast was great too!"
