"Getting to and from the hotel with out a car is very expensive. Even taking city bus which is paid for by hotel, there are many steep hills or steps to climb up from train station. Checked in the staff very nice. In room. No toilet paper, not even an empty roll. Had to go ask for it. The room had paper garbage under table. Breakfast was included but not much to speak of. I would never go back. Legs all bit up in the morning. Bed very uncomfortable and room very tiny. "

"The property was clean but it was old. All the furniture and appliances were maybe over 30 years and it was like staying in the 1950. But my wife liked the breakfast. The staff were great and helpful. But the hotel itself needed renovation."

"It was literally less than 5 mins away from the train station . The bus around Lugano and the funicular to the old town was free . The property was a perfect location . It’s clean and well kept . But small rooms and beds . Which is not a big issue for us . The service is superb . The receptionist came and picked us up at the train station personally . "

"The place is practically fully furnished close to the center and to the train station. Additional services are provided like daily cleaning of the place but I stayed for 2 day only so I did not use it. Remarkable view "

"Great spot by the train station. Room small but nice and clean for the 3 of us. Aircon was great in the heat when we stayed. Staff extra helpful. Cooking facilities were great and not too crowded at meal time. Breakfast in the nearby shared hotel was excellent.. kept us going for the day. Would stay here again. We were 1 adult and a 12 and a 14 year old (girls). Highly recommend."
