"This is the 2nd year we’ve stayed at Dad’s Cabin. It is just what we’re looking for in a place to stay; rural, secluded, with all the amenities one really needs. It’s fairly centrally located in hill country so it’s easy to get to anywhere you want to be. There was a burn ban in place so we didn’t get to use the fire pit but we still enjoyed the peace after a day exploring the hills. We’re definitely coming back so we’ll see you next year!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. It is located near enough to Fredericksburg to allow us to go into town in a short drive. It was far enough from town that the stars at night were amazing. We loved sitting out on the patio with the lights out. We will definitely book again. "

"I had a wonderful stay here,it was so quiet and peaceful on the grounds. I saw deer very often just walking around,it was amazing. The cabin itself was quaint,it fit my family. It was close enough to town without it being overwhelming. The winery had many great options of wine. I got a flight and the guy pouring the wine was very knowledgeable and funny. I wouldn't definitely book here again."

"Cabin was very clean. Nice views. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is because the AC unit was a little louder than expected and not ideal for a good nights sleep. No complaints at all. "

"The house was small and just the size we needed. Check in was at 4 but it was closer to 4:15 by the time we got in. Landscapers were there and left a huge pile of leaves that blocked the entire front of the house. Had to park next door the entire weekend. Part if the reason for choosing this location was the fireplace option since its January and cold at night. There was no firewood available to use as stated in the post. Other than those 2 things the stay was great. Id recommended a few more...
