"The cabin is great and we would definitely recommend. The pros: spacious, clean, great deck with hot tub that has easy top lift, surrounded by pines, great view of golf course, fun games in loft, nice beds upstairs. The cons: microwave did not work, the deck was covered thick with pine needles that we had to sweep, the fire pit did not have a cover but we found it later on the side of the house so we put it on the fire pit, the downstairs bed is uncomfortable and noisy. "This "cabin" is an architectural fantasy of design and architecture. It has all the amenities one would ask for. The decor theme was "rustic cabin" on steroids throughout. The sauna was huge, the master suite was delightful. I really enjoyed the shower and tub. The heat pump hydronic heat kept the place comfortable. If you have your passes you can ski in. You can enjoy all the Northstar HOA amenities during your stay. I would recommend this place to anyone!"

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Seemed like the whole place had just been redone - very clean. The setup worked well for our group with my elderly in laws staying on the main floor and my family with kids under 12 staying on the lower level. Lots of space indoors to hang out. Only negatives are that we couldn't get live TV - usually not an issue but we wanted to watch the Olympics. Netflix was available though so kids were happy :) And no table on the back deck to eat. But we enjoyed lovely happy...

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! Short drive to Safeway and Kings Beach (5 min). Really quiet, large open forest behind home. Traveled with my husband, mother, and 2 year old son. They had a baby gate if we needed it, high chair, children's placemat/dishes/flatware. The house was stunning, clean, and very comfortable furniture and bedding. Wish we could have stayed longer."
