"We took our teens during winter for some fun in the snow. The location is great: close to downtown Truckee and all that Tahoe Donner has to offer. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. Other reviewers have mentioned that it is dated, and some of the fixtures and furnishings may be a bit dated, but everything was operational, comfortable, and this is one of the more affordably priced rentals in the area. The owner is very responsive and super helpful, too. There are lots of games to play, comfortable beds, and a well-appointed kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and think this would be a great place to visit in the summer, too!"

"Fantastic in every way. Ski out the door up the hills behind. Cross the road to ski on the lake. All five bedrooms fine with 4 of them very nice. 4 of us used the skis provided. Book collection good. (Didn’t find any games or puzzles so bring them if you want) Kitchen very nicely equipped. Nice big oven. Lots of pans"
