Everything was super tired and it felt like a time capsule from 1983. Nothing had been updates except from the shower curtain (no hint here on the Bates Motel comparison). "Whilst the staff were excellent with their customer service, and the location was great, the room unfortunately was difficult to breathe in. It smelt like cigarette smoke was permanently in the room as well as having a musty smell. Room was clean and decent in size but the odour was not great to deal with"

"This hotel has beautiful bones. Glimpses of its former glory are everywhere. On the plus side: prompt valet parking, easy check-in, pretty public spaces, very comfortable beds, with the exception of the shower needing a good spray of bleach on the grout, the rooms were clean. The downside: absolutely frigid temperatures in the lobby and hallways.
