There was no AC for our room so the stay was unbearably hot. When i asked about this the manager stated they only had AC or heat during the year. There were no house keepers so our room was never cleaned and towels were never replenished. The breakfast was only bagels and doughnuts with milk or orange juice. Would not go back.

This is dirty stinky hotel! Not what I expected at all. With so many choices around skip this dump! It needs a remodeling badly. Stained carpet halls; not working properly shower; everything dirty inside and out. The reason why it doesn't have worst ratings is the club/bar downstairs for older people, they probably rate it instead of the hotel!

Don't stay here, the area is sketchy, woman at the desk is extremely rude. Can't control air conditioning in rooms. Smell like literal crap.

The hotel is very old and not kept up. We were on the 10th floor and could hear every sound outside as if it were right outside the window. There was a bad smell when you first enter the hotel, luckily it was not on our floor. The bed cover was paper thin. I would not stay there again.

It's a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. It's fine if you understand the concept of budget hotel. It looks a bit run down in the lobby area. But the room was clean, had a working fridge, microwave, nice tv. But the AC was out. Overall I would stay there again for the price.

Place is a bit run down. Staff is friendly and location was fairly convenient to downtown. Free parking was a plus. The property could use a good renovation - of course it would be more expensive afterwords.

We(couple)stayed 3 nights in Sept.22-25. Did no have any problems with staff or security, all nice. First floor check in area is a little dark and dated. 10th floor room was dated but clean, big window for light, everything worked, hot water and pressure good. AC could have been a little cooler, but was livable. There are homeless in area, but had no problems with them. Probably would not recommend walking area at night! Overall would stay again! 👍

Wasn’t great but not terriable either. McDonald and Taco Bell were close and down the street is a dollar general. The gas station next to it did close down which makes foot traffic less now.

This is an atypical hotel. I enjoyed my stay. The staff was down to earth and friendly. The hotel has no pretense. Felt like a real throw back to a better time. And the fried chicken lunch is an amazing bargain and very good. Thank you all.

At least half the hotel turned out to be a homeless rehab center, with random boxes stacked in the reception area and down the hallways, where people loitered. The physical hotel had a pleasingly retro feel except for the food areas which were unmanned and looked barely stocked. It did feel clean, and the staff was nice. People loitered and sat drinking on the streets around the hotel and there was nothing to walk to but a McDonald’s. The parking lot did have an attendant but my spouse did not feel safe so we never checked in and went to another hotel for the night though it was too late to cancel. If I was alone I probably would have stayed the night, but I can’t say I wasn’t a little nervous too.

An utter hellhole. Unless you’re seeking a prostitution and/or drug den this place is absolutely not for you. No one seems to work there, no one picks up at front desk or management. The room wasn’t filthy, but 60 year old hotel carpet was disgusting. TV did not work. Weird people hangin around…DO NOT STAY HERE. I can’t believe I even paid what I paid.

We had trouble getting our tv to work and after a couple of day our toilet would flush and had to be fix. The breakfast didn't have tea or other things the eat most of the time.
