"Whilst the staff were excellent with their customer service, and the location was great, the room unfortunately was difficult to breathe in. It smelt like cigarette smoke was permanently in the room as well as having a musty smell. Room was clean and decent in size but the odour was not great to deal with"

"This hotel has beautiful bones. Glimpses of its former glory are everywhere. On the plus side: prompt valet parking, easy check-in, pretty public spaces, very comfortable beds, with the exception of the shower needing a good spray of bleach on the grout, the rooms were clean. The downside: absolutely frigid temperatures in the lobby and hallways. "The room was large and comfortable. Check in was efficient and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Lots of choice and also friendly staff. Great location. "
