It's also a great place from which to snorkel and kayak. For people who enjoy birding, as we do, you will appreciate that the well kept gardens and fruit trees attract a range of non-sea birds too.The hosts are responsive both before and during the stay. Our check in and check out went seamlessly.I really appreciate that the Casita is available for couples looking to rent a private place. Most VRBO homes are appropriate for 4 people, so you end up paying for empty space.We like to cook with fresh local ingredients, and appreciated that the kitchen is well stocked. I'd recommend Casita Tortuga to anyone looking for a special trip to the Gulf of California."

"Nice room, decent wifi and cell phone reception for Baja. Beach access is soso for wind sports, the reason I came. Hot tub was cold. Friendly staff."

"This property is simply beautiful. It is remote, so if party life, crowds and noise is what you’re looking for, this resort is not for you. But if you’re looking to relax in a quiet, beautiful setting and enjoy the ocean, great attentive staff, wonderful food, and a beautiful area on the coast of the Sea of Cortez, you won’t be disappointed. Personable, fun staff go above and beyond to take care of you and make sure you’re comfortable. You’ll feel like family during your stay and will be sad to say goodbye! 5 stars! "Beautiful property but Wi-Fi is poor to non existent. I guess when you are in paradise you shouldn’t need Wi-Fi but couldn’t stream anything. Enjoyed a little slice of paradise"

"Close to pickleball courts. The pool is nice but not heated so we didn’t use it. "

"The place was incredible! The road access was a little primitive. We made it fine but it would have been valuable to know that there was a more improved road available (That didn’t show up as an option on Google Maps). We would have gladly taken the longer more paved road to the property but saying that it was a tremendous location and property and we will definitely put it on our places to go back to."

"A ticked away hidden gem. The room had a kitchenette, large bathroom and a lovely King Bed. Very well appointed room. Thr proeroty has a lovely pool to dip in or lunge beside. The contact person was prompt to answer any questions. "
