"Lovely stay at the Falcon Inn for the one night. Comfortable room in an annexe, nice and clean with a comfy bed, plus full English breakfast. "A 1 night stay for work reasons. The pub and food are excellent with a good selection at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable but very cold due to the old leaking sash windows. All in all for the price it's ok for a 1 night stay. "

"We loved the idea of staying in a castle and that in itself was magical. We stayed in the Cromwell Suite which is big. The kids loved the extra room to roam. The high ceiling in the living/2nd bed area was nice and contributed to the majestic feel.There were however a few things that could have been better. "Second time we have stayed here and both times have been excellent. The quintessential English country pub that does excellent b and b. The staff are friendly and efficient, the evening meal and breakfasts are superb. Highly recommend."

"My only worry was the noise from outside the room from the kitchen extractor fan, or something. However it was turned off from 21:45 to 07:00ish, if I remember correctly. So no complaints. "

"Pub is closed on Sunday evenings and Monday morning so only contact we had was to pick key up, so cannot really comment on service. Lodge was clean but looking a bit tired, but was fine for a one night stay. "
