"This property was remodeled by a pro. Beautifully put together with top grade natural wood and tile materials in a house with appreciable historic value. Extremely clean, warm and well taken care of property. Hosts were excellent with information and help throughout the process. Location 6 stars. 5 min walk and you are on Main Street in the middle of it all.The breakfast nook was cozy spot for enjoying the snowy outdoors. "Perfect location and property for family vacation.Great room arrangement for people with young kids so variable sleeping times are easy. Beautifully maintained property with things to do on site but also hiking trails and canoeing options ridiculously close by. All the comforts of home from kitchen to fire pit to comfy beds. Very well set up for bringing a dog too. Michael and caretaker Meg were responsive and helpful. Can’t imagine anything I would change. We will be back!"

"Great spot for a group outing. this was a lovely location to hang out in, paddle around the lake, go to old forge and do some hiking. we needed big tables for lots of games, and this was perfect. Only downside to the place is no dishwasher, which can be a little tricky with a group of 8."

"Log Haven was a perfect place for us, our two grown children with spouses and our grand puppy! Often, there are 3 bedrooms but one room will have twin beds and that doesn’t fit our family. Great living area for everyone to spread out and to cook in. Since we were there for Christmas, it was so nice to come and see a Christmas tree which rarely happens! Thank you!"

"There is nothing fancy about the house, but it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC. It was great to have the kayaks and dock on the property -- Lake Clear Outlet is very peaceful without a lot of houses and the current/wind is more manageable than when you kayak on a big lake. We had one small problem with the diverter not working in the shower in the morning but...

"The host was very helpful in informing us of details about the property in terms of accommodating snowmobiles. House was cozy, very clean and had excellent access to trail system and room to park trailers in drive and gear in mudroom. Will absolutely be staying here again!"
