"Great stay, room was lovely and really comfy bed. Both the room and bathroom had heating so even in December it was nice and warm. Nathalie was a great host :) - I was able to use the microwave and cutlery etc to warm my dinner as I was exhausted after a long ride. I had to leave by 7am so she left me coffee, toast, and lovely home made jam so that I could have breakfast before I left. My little dog and me felt right at home. Thanks again :) "

"Very quirky property, traditional French style in middle of St Valery with everything this beautiful town has to offer on the doorstep. Public parking available on the road just up from hotel. We stayed in Lawrence of Arabia suite which was interesting. Room to spread out in living area. Breakfasts are fantastic, with lovely fresh produce. Lovely host. "

"Chance au Roy is situated in the countryside outside Aigneville. The accommodation is part of an estate, the owners living in a chateau the accommodation is in the grounds. It’s a beautiful setting but in need of some restoration. When we arrived we had a lovely welcome from Elizabeth the owner, she hadn’t been expecting us, despite booking ,but showed us a room that was available. "The hotel is perfectly positioned in a quiet street but only 100yds or so from the start of the central area, bars, restaurants and historic buildings. The room was fantastic and breakfast great. My only problem was Hotels.com info said was needed a negative covid test under 24hrs old from a pharmacy. We had to run round like crazy and spend €40 on the tests, only to find the hotel did not require them. Please update your information Hotels.com"

"I was in Amiens for a week and stayed here the whole time. It’s quiet at night and the big windows open up to the street, so you can people watch during the day. It’s a safe area and there are multiple bakeries, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. Everyone around is friendly, welcome, and helpful- and you (almost) feel like a local! Everything is exactly as pictured, and I would highly recommend staying here if you’re planning on coming to the area. PS- The host is great (and nearby) and...
