"Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you."

"What a lovely spot. So peaceful with on the sounds of ducks cockerels and donkey’s for a bit of background atmosphere. Located in the French countryside with close local amenities. And most of the place we visited were only 30 mins drive away. Abbevile close with great train links to Paris where we spent a great day and Amiens just over an hour drive Was about 1 hour 30 mins drive to visit the world war 1 memorial sites, well worth the drive. "We had a really good stay and found the accommodation extremely good with the single exception of parking - this is complicated and not free (unless you want a 20 minute walk to your car) but, given how central it is, close to the square, shops and restaurants, this wasn't a problem. There are lots of great walks and a trip on the railway is a must! The owners have prepared a very detailed and comprehensive set of guides, so everyone will find something they like. Highly recommended."

"Just returned from a wonderful holiday in this property. Sylvie and Bernard are a friendly couple who looked after all our needs checking everthing was OK and Sylvie baked a wonderful french cake for us to enjoy on our arrival. The property has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. For anyone who is disabled the staircase would be an issue to the upstair bedrooms however everyting else was spot on. "Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt, die Lage in dem Altstadtviertel und die Aussicht aus dem Garten und dem Wintergarten ist wunderbar. Man ist von der Haustür aus in wenigen Schritten unten an der Promenade und von dort in 5 Minuten in dem kleinen Zentrum. Die Wohnung ist frisch renoviert und sehr sauber und gepflegt. Dadurch dass sie frisch renoviert ist, fehlen noch ein paar Details, z.B. eine kleine Lampe mit warmem Licht im Wohnbereich, aber vermutlich wird dies noch...

"We have just enjoyed a wonderful 3 day stay. The property is brilliantly located in the middle of town with restaurants, shops and bakery all within a couple of minutes. A great base for exploring the local area. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. There is paid parking near the property. Our elderly uncle did find the stairs very steep so the house is not very suitable with those with limited mobility."

"Excellent place to stay. We extended by one night. Clean and comfortable with street parking. Front desk staff were very helpful. My only concern is the 150 euro bond money has not been returned to my card yet. It has been six days since we checked out and have sent two messages to the hotel but not received any response. Our stay was very good and the kitchen let us have home cooked meals. Apart from the return of bond money would recommend this hotel."
