"After reading all the negative reviews I was unsure but don't believe everything you read The hotel is amazing and hard working staff where nothing was too much trouble Very convenient for sightseeing and walkable plenty to see and do within the hotel even looking at the lobby was informative and beautiful to look at."

"My room was fantastic. The bathroom is a little dated, but the room and bed were very comfortable. The breakfast is almost certainly the best in Chester and the staff are great."

"Allowed to check in early. Had to pay for parking but we were given an extended time free of charge. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Gym was excellent for a hotel. Pool was lovely and clean! Breakfast in the morning was great and excellent service. Hotel is slightly dated but has an old school vibe so it suits it. All amenities available in the room. Comfortable nights sleep "

"Just stayed 1 night for the Joe Bonamassa gig at the M&S arena.Accommodation/facilities fine.Had a quick dinner at the hotel which was very good and done quickly for us because we hadn't much time.Staff were SO VERY helpful and friendly especially Rose & Sofia in the restaurant."

"Older building with a lot of charm and updates. The location was fantastic. It located right next to the train station but not too noisy. There’s actually a passage from the hotel to the platform. So you there in a matter of seconds. The hotel was also close to city bus stops and our tour bus (busy bus) pickup/drop-off spot."
