"We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Bryn Melyn apartment. It's walking distance to the town centre (although it's a bit hilly.) The room is sparklingly clean, cozy and spacious, and has a stunning view. Barmouth is lovely town and has lots of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended."

The owner messaged before arriving for stay, to say there was an issue with hot tub, and he was arranging someone to look at it. "The apartment was dated but clean, quite cold even with the heaters, the 2nd bedroom heater didn’t work, the fridge wasn’t working and one half of the recliner sofa didn’t recline. Overall a lovely stay and the issues didn’t affect our holiday as we were only there for a few days but when I tried to contact someone regarding the issues I go no response which was disappointing."

"The description of the flat is inaccurate. The private fenced garden is a concrete balcony covered in fake grass, accessed from the bedroom, not the lounge as stated. The mattress is simply worn out, badly stained and needs immediate replacement. Neither mattress nor pillows had protectors on them, a basic hygiene measure. "We loved our short stay in Ty Golchi. Everything in the cottage is such good quality and the space has been maximised. It was so warm in there even without the log burner. It was lovely to sit in front of the fire in the evening after being out for long walks along the beach. We didn’t have to use our car as the cottage is so well placed for visiting tourist attractions. We walked to the local beach and also to Harlech. We enjoyed the welcome pack with local produce."
