The staff were very good and made you feel welcome. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice. The room was clean and spacious with well stocked tea and coffee choices and fresh milk and cans of chilled water included from a fridge on each floor.

We were glad we chose to stay here. We felt it was good value and clean and comfortable. Convenient central location and nearby secure parking all handy for town, beach and mountains. Modern, stylish ‘industrial look’ bedrooms,.. excellent Linen etc and nice toiletries and added extras (milk and cans of spring water etc.) Downstairs ‘shabby chic’ bar area with a relaxed vibe. All staff were friendly and welcoming.

I so enjoyed my stay at The Tilman. Such a quaint property in the heart of Barmouth. My room was spacious, clean and bright. Breakfast was excellent every morning. Service was always fast and super friendly. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in a beautiful deluxe twin room on the 2nd floor at the front of the property. The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated. There was a good selection of hot drinks and biscuits, as well as complimentary still and sparkling water both available in the room as well as available in a small fridge on one of the landings. The hotel car park is just around the corner. Check in was quick and efficient. Lovely comfortable beds and good quality pillows. Breakfast was gorgeous. A great selection of several hot dishes from the menu. Beautifully presented. Small selection of cereal, pastries and juices for self service. Staff were friendly welcoming, chatty amd helpful throughout our stay. Would highly recommend this accommodation as a place to stay in Barmouth. Right in the centre near all the shops, easy walk to the beach.

Beautifully decorated room, with a stunning bathroom. Yea and coffee making facilities were great, loved the touch of bottled milk and canned water. Huge bed and so comfy. Will definitely visit again. Breakfast options were yummy too.

We were on the second floor there was no lift. Our room was at the rear of the property which was next to an Indian restaurant and so we had the extractor fan which was running until 11pm and started again at 8am . The property was very clean and the Staff were excellent particularly at breakfast time.

The rooms have been made up with great features and top quality furnishings. Regularly stay here when visiting coed-y-brenin and seriously I wouldnt chose anywhere else. Breakfast is the best!!

Great Location
Lovely hotel in perfect location for a couple of days in Barmouth. Hotel has been renovated to a great standard and other than a lift has all the amenities including a car park. Will definitely stay here again when I come to Barmouth.

Lovely relaxed stay in Barmouth.
The Tilman is a very smart,contemporary small hotel located in the centre of the lovely town of Barmouth.The bedroom was spacious,scrupulously clean and very nicely designed and in excellent condition. Very good provision was made for drinks including water,fizzy orange and tea and coffee(with real milk). I would have no hesitation in recommending it as a good place to take a break.

Lovely room with really good quality fittings and linen, very comfy bed. Only reason I marked it down slightly was that it advertised a restaurant but didn’t do food in the evening.
