"The apartment was dated but clean, quite cold even with the heaters, the 2nd bedroom heater didn’t work, the fridge wasn’t working and one half of the recliner sofa didn’t recline. Overall a lovely stay and the issues didn’t affect our holiday as we were only there for a few days but when I tried to contact someone regarding the issues I go no response which was disappointing."

"Relaxing view from the balcony overlooking the water and park, sitting in a swinging chair. Property was as described by owner. The owner messaged before arriving for stay, to say there was an issue with hot tub, and he was arranging someone to look at it. He was very apologetic about this and it was repaired the following morning, and all ready to use later on in the day. "This is a lovely apartment, beautifully furnished and appointed. It has a stunning view, telephone wires apart. It was absolutely spotless when we arrived. We had a couple of niggles but they were addressed satisfactorily by the owners. Take their words about the hill to the apartment very seriously. You need to be fit and able to deal with it."

"Let the flat for a few days for a Welsh golf tour. There is a pub next door (owner—Josh) with a good selection of drinks. The store owners underneath play music in the morning—rock one morning, then switched to Christmas music the next day. The music was in the mid-early morning so it did not wake us up. "We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Bryn Melyn apartment. It's walking distance to the town centre (although it's a bit hilly.) The room is sparklingly clean, cozy and spacious, and has a stunning view. Barmouth is lovely town and has lots of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended."

"The description of the flat is inaccurate. The private fenced garden is a concrete balcony covered in fake grass, accessed from the bedroom, not the lounge as stated. The mattress is simply worn out, badly stained and needs immediate replacement. Neither mattress nor pillows had protectors on them, a basic hygiene measure. The hallway, which has no natural light, had 1 light fitting not working, the other simply a bare lightbulb. The owner offered to bring a lamp but in a narrow passageway this...

"Lovely apartment in a great location right next to the shops and beach. Easy check in, thanks to Vic and Mary. Barmouth is a great place to stay with plenty of places to eat. Would recommend the Mermaid chip shop next door to the apartment and the Royal is a great pub to visit. The slate mines at Llanfair are well worth a visit as is Porthmadog by train. I would definately recommend this apartment"

"We had a wonderful experience in this special rental. The host was so kind and space was perfect for us. We enjoyed the nearby town, castle, an Afternoon Tea in Port Meirion and a day trip up to Holyhead and Llandudno.
