"Fabulous stay here. Stunning location full of history and the grounds are beautiful. The staff were lovely, helpful, professional and the food at breakfast and the evening meals were delicious. Didn’t get chance to sample the spa this time but will be returning to do so. Many thanks for such a wonderful time."

"The only gripe we had was the lavender spray being sprayed in our bedroom my husband had a wheezing problem from it being sprayed by the cleaning person,so a big no to any room spray for us , otherwise a lovely stay, thank you to all the staff they were very polite "

"Reall dog friendly with beds in the bar and towels and doggy wash outside. The spa was an added bonus after long walks out."

"My room was clean however the paint was flaking off above the shower and on the bathroom window. More of a matinence thing than cleanliness but I deducted a star for this. Cobweb in bathroom window, and fibres on the carpet that stuck to some velcro. The distance from the bed to the nearest 2 sockets was a bit of a issue I need to wear a CPAP therapy machine. There was no sweetener in the tea and coffee facilities in my room, however there was at breakfast I don't know if this was just an oversight or if they don't routinely put them in the rooms. Breakfast was good with a good range of Gluten free food including GF cereal, GF bread and dairy free milk. Cooked breakfast also available the way they serve their jam leaves it open to cross contamination from people touching their bread with the spoon. I would suggest little tubs?"

"Apart from them not expecting me, they weren't doing breakfast and the telly was broken, I have no complaints. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was just what was hoped for with a comfortable bed and functioning hot shower. A bit pricey for a pub in April."
