We went for a couple of great walks up the disused quarry, just up the road. Once at the top of this walk there are fantastic views of the valley. "We had a great time at this property. The five properties gave us space to be together and still have our own space to retreat to when needed. It was a very wet weekend in Wales but we made the most of it. The Pool and Grove cottages and The Gallery were a bit tricky to keep warm as you needed to keep the log burners going and use electric heaters upstairs. "A wonderful and spacious stone house with exceptional facilities especially in the kitchen. All the bedrooms has comfortable beddings and with enough room for 8 adults and 4 children. We definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit Bala in North Wales for its facilities and location. "

"Fantastic location next to the canal enjoyed watching boats going past. Nice walks around and other places nearby. Only thing wrong with the discrimination of the property is it says it has a hot tub but it has a bath inside the house and no hot tub outside. We still enjoyed our visit "

"Nice quiet and clean sheltered cottage with dedicated little drive. We spent two days it was really nice it would be even nicer with good weather so you can have your tea outside in the garden. Don't follow the google pin it takes you nowhere but the owner will happily give yuo right directions we were guided by a friendly local farmer."

"This is a unique property in a unique location. It more than satisfied our needs for a small family reunion along with exploring a beautiful region of Wales. I think the marketing is a bit misleading as far as being luxurious. The finishing and comfort were more in line with rustic than luxury."

"This is a great place to go chill for a while, with many fun areas to hang out. They have it stocked with games of all types. It’s also located within an easy drive to many wonderful sightseeing areas—Snowdonia, Conwy, Chester are all within an hour. The host was very responsive and friendly. Would love to go back. "

"We gathered to quietly celebrate some zero birthdays and could only manage a weekend because of work schedules. It was painful not to be able to stay longer. Everyone else mentions the view. Why wouldn't they? It really is special. But the very high level of comfort inside, combined with the unspoilt rural scene outside, are also magic. "We booked last minute and were very impressed with the cabin just perfect for a peaceful getaway but close enough to so many walks and places to visit. Took our dog as well and so safe for him to have room to move onto the patio area as gated off and lovely walk around the site with a kids park as well. Love to go back soon."
