"Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely traditional cottage. The village is lovely, you can buy your essentials from the village shop (Post Office). The cottage is well situated within the village and there are lovely walks nearby. Although the weather was brilliant, the nights were getting chilly so we welcomed the log burner which kept us nice and cosy. The host was on hand with information about the area and advised us about the best places to visit in this beautiful part of the country....

"It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs."

"Overall, we were pretty meh on this place. The wifi didn't work and cell service in this area was spotty which made planning day trips challenging. The place wasn't super clean. With a young child, we ran anti baterial wipes over parts of the house and compared to other places it was much dirtier. We also had multiple spiders and a bee in the cottage which we were there. "Brilliant hotel, always try to stay here if in Chester. Car park for about 20 cars, but Watergate St is a 3 min walk and about £12 for 24 hours. Stayed in the Ascot suite, great size, spotless, all the facilities in good working order. Free WiFi. Lots of space, ealk in shower (very powerful).
