"I liked the location in a quiet area of the city on a lightly trafficked main road. A 10 minute walk to the centre of Christchurch, 3-5 minutes to several restaurants and, though it’s not my thing, a stone’s throw from the casino. The couple who own/operate the motel were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Nicely appointed clean and spacious unit with kitchenette and high water pressure shower helped make my stay very enjoyable. "

"I stumbled across SiloStay on the internet while planning our 30 day trip to New Zealand and had to revise our itinerary to fit this in for 2 nights. We were not disappointed. Inventive, unique, quirky and very well done. Remember to wear socks when going to the lower level to use the toilet at night as the steel stairs are pretty cold on bare feet. "

"Stayed with my 4 children last week for 2 nights. Property is clean and tidy on the outside and rooms were great too. There was a little bit of a funky smell in the kitchen cupboards but we werent fussed. Window locks on the windows that faced out to the balcony. Hosts were lovely and very polite and welcoming. We have stayed in many motels and found Adelphis wifi the best! There was no lag or connection issues. My kids enjoyed their stay and have asked to return on our next visit. Would...
