"As a Heritage hotel, it is in a historic building which gives it charm. Whilst the carpet and furniture and fixtures are dated, nothing about the hotel is dirty so it was still comfortable. The reception staff were excellent and really helped us have a relaxed stay from the outset"

"We spent our first night there with a AATKings travel group. The 2nd night was after the tour ended on our own. ALL interactions with many staff were AWESOME. Each individual was professional, proficient polite effective very personable and extremely helpful. Most had a very good sense of humor and were extremely good natured. I worked in the computer field for 40 years and it may not seem like it, but we interacted with our ‘users’ and customer service was very important to us. As a data center manager I focused on this aspect… therefore I recognize when it’s lacking and also when it’s exceptional. "
