"We have thoroughly enjoyed our pre Christmas break at Nancecliff and the location couldn’t have been more perfect for us in terms of wanting to walk and not use the car. The parking was a bonus and made it easy for unloading and loading the car. The place was clean and smelt fresh when we arrived with plenty of facilities, towels, etc to use. The views were splendid and the property offered all the amenities one is likely to need. The house is a passive house and it's the first time I've stayed in one. "This was a very comfortable house for a large family - with a spacious garden and well appointed rooms. In The kitchen was well equipped for mass catering, and the views from the north facing were stunning and uninterrupted. . "Accomodation was fantastic and welcome to the site was brilliant. Only issue we encountered was the external sewage pipes as they ran along side the cabin. From day 1 it appeared to be a problem with some sort of blokage and contractor out every morning trying to sort it out. The foul stench left behind after contractor finished was quite overwhelming, especially coming back into the main bedroom ensuite toilet. "It was an absolutely lovely experience and grate place to stay. The most disappointing thing, esotericism on a holiday advertised for kids, is that you can only get 1 hour slots at the pool per day. Yes the pool is emptier when you're there but 1 hour is just not enough! Plus you have to drive to get anywhere else that's kids friendly. So if that changed my rating would improve."
