"I was looking for a retreat, in nature and close to good hiking, and this was perfect. There is a long, lovely walk on the property down to Talladega Creek, and it's also just a few minutes from the Pinhoti. The cabin itself was comfortable and cozy warm, even when temps fell to the teens. Maggie was conscientiously helpful and gracious."

"Hands down the best property we have ever rented. It was very clean and the kitchen is actually stocked for cooking. The layout is super convenient with the entertainment areas far enough away from the sleeping areas that people can rest undisturbed if others want to stay up chatting. "We had two separate doctors visits and elected to rent a house rather than motel. The stay was very relaxing, comfortable and convenient. It was about 1 hour drive, but worth it to have space to relax, craft, watch tv and a break from B'hams stress. The house had most everything we needed, very clean, quiet neighborhood, convenient to shopping we needed and spacious. We recommend it for anyone needing a get away for a few days. Definately enjoyed the snow flurries. "

"Our family found this home to be lovely, spacious and a perfect fit for us. Whether it was skipping stones in the lake, making s’mores by the fire pit, playing games or watching deer in the surrounding woods, we all had a wonderful time together in this beautiful location. It was close enough to Georgia to make a trip to Callaway Gardens where we enjoyed their Fantasy of Lights. The local Kiwanis park had nice hiking trails and a tractor museum which was enjoyed by all. We highly recommended...
