"We had a great say. This was a Christmas weekend celebration with extended family. We need some place with lots of bedrooms and pet friendly for our 6 dogs. This is it. No issues at all. We had a great stay. Communication with owner with amazing. David was always responsive! Looking forward to rebooking for next Dec "

"We cooked the entire time we were there--Thanksgiving dinner, turkey gumbo, grilled fillets....it was wonderful. Thank goodness for 2 refrigerators. We had one of the most memorable times with our young adult children and mother. We did late afternoon walks and saw deer and wild turkeys each time. Built a fire in the outside firepit while hubby grilled steaks. Had a roaring fire in the living room fireplace, while we all watched football for 4 days (hated to leave all that ash but we couldn't find a metal bucket to clean out fireplace). It was so remote and quiet we forgot what peaceful sounded like. The road was curvy, hilly and skinny but it was dry this week so no problems there. Both microwaves had their issues but we were able to figure one of them out. The lower level one probably needs to be replaced. The lower level shower needs some instructions on how to turn on but the host was very helpful getting back with us. Will definitely be back.....if they will have us....the pictures do not do this place justice. It was such a beautiful, cozy cabin. Thank you so much for sharing your home away from home. BEAUTIFUL!! "We had a wonderful time at Gabbie’s Getaway. The home was adorable, very clean and well equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed to make a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Plenty of clean linens and towels! The furnishings were nice and couches were very comfortable. The doc area is very nice as well. Full disclosure on the treck down to dock was slightly steeper than expected but in no way a deterrent. I would just want to add that if you had physical disabilities or older it might be a little difficult. But there is a nice rock road that leads down to dock Area that is easily accessible from the house deck. Easy enough to walk down but slightly steep for the walk back. Again not a deterrent for us, because we had lots of fishing to do. Don’t miss out on this beautiful peaceful house, it was such a relaxing atmosphere. By the way if you have time visit downtown and the little shops, you won’t be disappointed. The owners were fantastic with communication as well! "

"The LakeHouse was everything we wanted!!! It was very clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed! I would rate this home 10/10. The visual surroundings of the lake is absolutely beautiful and serene. I would definitely love to visit again."

"We had 12 family members from 3 generations on this family vacation ranging from 22 months to 62 years old and there was something for everyone. The game room, the pool table and the hot tub were awesome. We would love to go back during the summer when we can enjoy the water too. The two full kitchens made it a perfect place to have our family's Thanksgiving dinner! We also made use of a park about 10 minutes away that we saw on the way back from the hiking trails about 20 minutes away. That was the only time we left the house. We highly recommend this home for a family (or friends) getaway. We're going to suggest this location for our church's pastoral retreat. "
