"family vacation. room was clean and modern. beds were the best. best sleep ive had in years. when i arrived the network systems were down. check in was frustrating & the staff struggled to do things the old fashioned way. i was not offered cookies & water even though im a HH member for many years. other than those minor issues this hotel was great and i would stay here again."

"I was unaware of the $100 deposit nd was unable to get the room..the only way to avoid the deposit is paying the full price upfront in cash and the lady at the desk was very rude about everything and constantly kept asking if I had a dog as if that was the only thing she was concerned about. RUDE RUDE and RUDE!!!"

"Room was clean to the eye. I had to go over it myself. Bed was uncomfortable but manageable and the roaches were mainly in the bathroom but saw some in the kitchen. I couldn’t unpack because of it so I kept the majority of my things in my car. Customer service/front desk was good."

"I didn’t even stay. I checked out and went to a different hotel. Dirty. Cobwebs still in the windows. Dirt on the floor. You could tell the building was not taking care of over the years. Reminded me of something definitely shady. I’d recommend staying somewhere else and paying a little bit more a night. I didn’t trust a mouse sleeping here. "

"Nice lakefront home, good size for our family of four. Very clean and well stocked in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed fishing, grilling and time with the family on the large covered deck. Lots of stairs going to the water and the stairs going up to 2 bedrooms were very steep, but not an issue for us. It would’ve been nice to have had working TVs in the bedrooms - mostly for the teenagers! Had a wonderful time overall and definitely recommend!"

"This is a very nicely remodeled lake house. Everything you need for your stay was provided, including covered parking for your car. We ate lunch one day at Mazatlan, a Mexican restaurant 3 minutes from the house that had been recommended by the hosts and was very good. There is excellent access to NC Highway 8 which provides many eating options as well as gas stations and a grocery store. We enjoy Downtown Lexington and always visit some of our favorite shops while at the lake. Downtown also...
