While the service at the hotel was excellent and warm, many details of our room ranged from bizarre to unacceptable. I found a few stray hairs on my unused pillow, there were rings of mildew around the bathtub faucet, and our room’s alarm clock (which we had never touched) went off at 5 AM. Additionally, the elevator and snack machine were both broken. Poor value for the price of our stay —

We really enjoyed the wine & cheese social from 5-7 and the cookies & milk from 8-9. The southern breakfast was hearty and delicious (biscuits and sausage gravy are my favorite). Our room was amazing. Two levels and very spacious. The staff and atmosphere were so welcoming. We can’t wait to come back.

This stay was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, Sally the cat was so sweet! Breakfast was great every morning! Wine & cheese in the evening was fun. Have I mentioned milk and cookies at 8 PM ! the tastiest touch every! We will be back!

The historic setting was unique. The amenities of the wine & cheese was such a nice welcome. And topping off the evening with with the milk and cookies gathering was the cherry on top! The staff was very attentive. We will be back!

A nicely done repurposing of a historic cotton mill. The room was unique and pleasant, the staff was courteous and attentive, breakfast was better than the usual fare, and we were treated to milk and cookies in the evening. Location is convenient for walks to downtown or Old Salem.

We absolutely loved this spot! It was beautifully decorated for the holidays and we loved all the goodies they offered (wine and cheese were available as well as milk and cookies before bed). The breakfast was an amazing selection (one of the best I’ve seen at a hotel), and the staff was super helpful. Unfortunately, our daughter got sick and we were only able to stay one night, but we definitely plan to come back in the future! Highly recommend!
