"Visiting family before new year. Lovely single room with small en-suite but perfect for me. Everything I needed was available but in the kitchen, required more utensils for cooking. I got takeaway and used what I could, no problem with bowls/plates and kitchen appliances. Great spacious clean kitchen. Lovely place to stay, recommend. "

Disappointing to be told initially that there was not a table available for us as guests in the hotel restaurant for an evening meal, at no point from booking to arrival were we advised we needed to book, in the end the staff accommodated us although we were sat near to a very draughty door. On a positive the food was good and the waitress’s friendly. "
