"This lovely small hotel has been beautifully remodeled from an old factory with original exposed beams and columns. Lovely large room with nice views of the river with swans gliding past. Had dinner and breakfast here and food was great. Staff is super nice. Very close to cathedral, shops, restaurants and river walk. Honestly can't fault it at all. Would recommend. "

Close to the station and just a short walk from the town centre, the location could hardly be better. Highly recommended on all points!"

"The stay was as usual excellent . The only unfortunate issue, which was not the hotels fault, was a couple of rather loud and obnoxious people in the bar (who were not guests) that were verbally abusive to staff , using unfortunate language. This will not colour my opinion of the hotel and staff who are wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay and a special mention to Joseph in the bar who looked after us all evening."

"My friend and I visited for a relaxing break. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The spa facilities were lovely, and there were a variety of treatments that left us feeling pampered. The staff were attentive and made sure every detail was taken care of, making our stay enjoyable. The following morning breakfast was hot and delicious, however it is only served until 9:30. We wanted a bit of a lazy morning as we were taking a break from school runs and we felt a little rushed, and not all items were available as we had picked the last slot. This didn't detract from our stay, but would prefer a 10am breakfast option. Overall the tranquil atmosphere and excellent service make this hotel a great option for anyone seeking some peace and indulgence. Highly recommended!" "
