"Our family of four adults traveled to Nelson to ski at Whitewater. We absolutely loved Chara's Railtown Suite. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed, and just a really homey feel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Walking distance to bakeries, restaurants and shopping. "We needed a place to rest and recover between two backcountry ski trips and this was the perfect place. Lisa was extremely helpful and accomodating during our visit. We loved the location as we could walk to everything. It is quite uphill to get back home, but not too daunting. The old house is very comfortable and furnished for comfortable living. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking even though we mostly went out. I highly recommend this place!"

"Owner Corey lives next door, was very helpful, and came over to introduce us to his place. One of our party of 4 slept on the sofabed, which was comfortable but in the main living space - not an issue for us. The location neighborhood is a bit unusual, but fine, and a few minutes drive from downtown Nelson. We would stay at Corey's place again."

"Great property. Clean and spacious. Lots of things for the kids to do. The zipline was a huge hit. Hot tub was amazing and very clean. Was right beside some incredible mountain biking. There was also a fantastic running path right down the road that dogs can run off leash. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. The ping pong table was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again. Probably one of the best houses we have ever rented on VRBO."

"A unique vintage residence to stay at near Nelson BC. Spacious - we liked that bedrooms were on the corners of the house to give some privacy. 2.5 bathrooms were handy as well. Dining was great for meals and games. Backyard was very pleasant and had plenty of sunshine and shade options. Hosts were very responsive!!"

"My husband and son and I got the chance to go to Nelson for the weekend and had the opportunity to stay in this cute little getaway. The Roads are steep and no joke up to the house, but Canada does a great job with their snow removal and putting down sand to help with the ice. Andrew was really attentive and great. The house is beautiful, in a fantastic location near the beach and within walking distance of all that the town of Nelson offers.
