"The Alpine Inn makes traveling with pets really easy by providing plenty of outdoor green space to walk them which we really appreciated. The motel itself is older and so while it’s clearly well taken care of there remain a few areas that need a little sprucing up but despite that, it oozes charm. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great location being within less than a 5 mile drive from everything. We’ll stay again next time we’re in Nelson. "

"Great budget hotel! Although the building is older it is well maintained. Could hear some sounds outside of the window but the street quieted right down at night and with the fan running and earplugs no problem! Could hear some people on the stairs a bit but again quiet at night."

"We have stayed at this property twice before and will keep coming back whenever we visit this charming town. The rooms are clean and modern, with incredibly comfortable beds. The bathroom had a heated floor and towel rack, which was a nice touch. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for walking around Baker street. We were traveling with another couple, so we appreciated the common area for enjoying drinks and appetizers together. The rooftop fire pits provided a lovely spot to drink our morning coffee by on the crisp autumn mornings, and the hot tub was perfect for a relaxing soak before bedtime. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait for our next visit."

"This was my second time staying at the Hume. I love this historic property. Everything is so well preserved, even the historic elevator! The bathroom in my room was meticulously done with historic character. The breakfast at the restaurant was lovely, and the service exceptional. All staff I spoke with were friendly and helpful. I will definitely visit again, hopefully soon!"

"The staff were so friendly and accomodating. We had a question about the key drop late at night and it was answered immediately. This motel was exactly what we expected as we always try to travel pretty inexpensively. Beds were clean and comfy, fridge worked. Coffee pot worked. Parking was super easy. The motel is a lil older and the wear shows, but we didnt find it ompacted the comfort at all. Overall, very happy! "
