"It is a lovely cottage but be mindful the garden on the photos is not actually accessible from the property as its actually a first floor apartment and there are steep steps up to the front door. There were a few snags which I emailed the host about, mainly odd repairs and renewals needed. "Wow! This place was probably one of the best we've ever stayed at. The property itself, very nice and secluded on a working farm - we had all manner of animals sharing the patio with us, chickens, roosters (no they didn’t wake us up), ducks, goats, peacocks… Enjoyed it "

"I enjoyed this very small, but comfortable flat. Everything was in order when I arrived and it was a convenient base for walking and exploring the general area. Food shopping was handy and Kendal was a welcoming town for this lone traveler, much preferred over the more tourist towns along Lake Windermere. Again, as advertised, it is a small space."
