"Its 2nd time we have stayed. This time found it to be really noisy with harley Davidsons constantly revving up the hill during the day and noisy people shouting in early hours. The advert for rental included word Wifi. There was in fact NO wifi. Had to go out and buy a T towel on first day. There are no towels good job I had one. No sheet on bed just a throw to cover you. There is a safe but you cant use it. And the bedroom really is smaller than I remembered. We wont be staying again."

"We could not have been happier with the apartment . The owners were so helpful and generous, providing us with plenty of excellent guidance and advice . The apartment itself was spotless, light and airy with a lovely balcony and very close to the city centre and the beach, whilst being located in a very peaceful neighbourhood. There is a very good grocery shop just next door and a beautiful park . We could not recommend it highly enough."

"Toute la famille est ravie de ses vacances à l'île d'Oléron. Un bon bol d'air et de dépaysement dans une location pratique et très bien située. Les propriétaires sont charmants. Leur restaurant l'est tout aussi : nous pouvions tout autant profiter des soirées organisées que rester tranquillement se reposer après une après midi de plage. Ce séjour est à refaire ! Et bravo aux propriétaires !"

"Our whole La Rochelle experience was amazing... from the situation of the apartment to the surrounding amenities were spot on... lots of eateries around the apartment but to go into La Rochelle is a must, what a vibrant place!! Restaurants and shopping plentiful. There is a water bus that goes every half an hour to La Rochelle from les minimes and back again... all through the marina... will definitely return... thank you"

"location tres propre et tres bien équipée, mais nous avons passé notre sejour avec la porte de l’entree qui nous restait dans les mains . L’annonce presente une villa qui en fait n’est qu’un gite au rez de chaussée ( sans preciser qu’il y a des locataires) a l’etage. Et tres peu de communication avec la propriétaire, qui ´a juste appele a notre arrivée pour me preciser que Abritel s’était trompé dans l’annonce et que je devais regler la consommation d’électricité en plus de la facture...

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
