The staff were excellant both before & during our stay. Location could not be better, very central. Room was excellent as were the breakfasts. We loved La Rochelle & would visit again.

Lovely hotel in central location. Large light-flooded room in nice design with a beautiful view of the harbour comfortable beds Friendly staff - incredibly loud. There were street dancers and singers right in front playing loud music on speakers from midday to midnight. It felt like spending 12 hours in a nightclub. We stayed for 3 nights and it was like this every day.

Great view of harbour...room had small balcony. Room however very small. Unable to hang dresses, rail but shelving too close. Breakfast adequate but plenty of options close by that are cheaper. Very limited public space. Staff excellent and super helpful. Super location. Great dining options locally particularly road behind hotel away from harbour

We opted to rent a room with a balcony view over the Old Harbor. Well worth it! Spent hours just hypnotized by all the comings and goings on scooters, bikes, buses, boats, and on foot. What a wonderful location! Inside was very quiet. Staff was excellent.

We had a stunning corner room with a balcony. Visiting for our baby moon, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff so helpful in making sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Would definitely recommend staying here for a lovely stay in the heart of the old port and hope to visit again.

Nice hotel in a great location. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Rooms are smaller than they look in the photos, bathroom quite cramped - but not really a downside if you’re out sightseeing all day. Complementary soft drinks in the room were a nice touch and very much appreciated.

Great location right by the harbour front. The staff were all very friendly and the room was newly renovated, very clean and nice decor. Only slight challenge for us was the rooms are very compact, so not easy to open a big case

After 9 hours of driving and arriving in the dark in the rain we were not greeted in a very friendly manner. The staff made me feel like I was crazy. I was just simply exhausted and they made me feel like I had asked too much of them by asking where to park and if it was safe to store our suitcases after checkout. We have been traveling in France a long time and were unfortunately robbed of all our belongings before we arrived. This hotel was the least comforting and least friendly and I would not return, although the view of the harbor was beautiful and rooms very clean. As a hotel employee I would assume that every guest needs to be treated as if they have had a very long day of travel and are not crazy. I was on the verge of tears and just needed some extra care. It would be helpful if instructions for parking were on the website as it is extremely complicated to park and drop off luggage.

Personnel très accueillant. Lit confortable. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Chambre bien équipée mais un peu petite, d'où des difficultés à se déplacer dans la chambre. Hôtel très bien situé. 2 nuits sans dormir !
Nous avions une chambre (numéro 16) qui donnait sur le port et avons passé 2 nuits sans dormir. La Rochelle est une ville très animée le soir et la nuit, particulièrement la zone du port et étant donné que les fenêtres datent de Mathusalem, sans aucune isolation, c'est comme si nous avions dormi dehors. La direction de l'hôtel dépose des bouchon d'oreilles dans la salle de bain, c'est dire que le problème est bien connu... Nous avons apprécié de se voir offrir 2 PdJ en compensation mais cela ne compensera jamais le désagrément rencontré.
