"The hotel has absolutely stunning views across the sea making each morning magical as you see the sunrise. The food was tasty with plenty of options. Drinks are branded and water always available (although not stored in your room despite there being a fridge in the room). Pool area is clean with beds a plenty. "I really liked this resort. We treated ourself to this 5 star hotel for our anniversary. They have an incredible pool, the biggest salty water pool in Europe and the Spa massage made me fly. The location itself is stunning and it's 30 seconds walk from the ocean. The staff has always been helpful and kind whenever we asked for something. Dream place and you feel like a king/queen. "The hotel had a lovely view of the volcano and the mountains, but it was quite a long walk away from high street down a steep hill. It wasn’t a problem to do the walk a couple of times, but definitely not every day. "The apartment was very well equipped. There was only 1 air con unit in the apartment which was in the bedroom-that was the only down side I can think of. Beds were comfortable and the balcony was huge. The area was very quiet at night. We always got a good spot by the pool late morning/early afternoon. The staff were all great and very helpful. Pool was a good temperature and inflatables were allowed at certain times. I would stay here again. "

"We had an amazing stay at El Tope, it was just what we wanted. Would love to see some more amenities at the hotel and more activities/events within the hotel itself. The rooftop bar was a highlight which seemed newly built, there were works going on whilst we were there so hopefully even more new stuff to come! Thanks El Tope for a wonderful vacation"

"Words can’t explain how good this hotel and the staff are. Staff can’t do enough to help and make your stay more comfortable. Amazing experience and I’ll definitely be staying again sooner rather than later. Pricey but more than worth it in the long run for an absolutely fantastic first class holiday. It’s far out from the hustle and bustle of las Americas but if your willing to pay taxis into town (20 mins, €28 one way) it’s the best place to stay for comfort and quiet and the entertainment they put on is second to none. "
