"Reasonable hotel with a few flaws. The family apartment rooms are good for a family of four but there are some issues. The air conditioning (for cold air) only works in the summer. In the winter it’s used for heating. So even in Feb it was quite stuffy in the rooms and we had to open the window for cold air. Unfortunately local noises kept waking us up. Also neither of the TV worked nor the safe (bad instructions) and also the lights in the bathroom went out when you plugged a hairdryer in. "

"Had to check in across the street at a sister hotel which was no problem. Our hotel required key card to scan into the building which was appreciated. Hotel smelled musty and the room was outdated. Great location next to the train station (5minute walk) and proximity to everything. Breakfast is an extra cost and we did not try it. "

"This was our third stay here! We love the close location to the train station and bus to the airport. Also the boat taxi is only a few minutes walk. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Rooms provide minimal amenities with older decor but perfect for a couple of nights. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They also provide breakfast although we have not taken it. I will definitely stay here again! "

"We had a very nice experience at Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo. First of all, customer service is really amazing. The staff is available all the time and allways willing to help. The only minus is that in the room the air was a bit humid ( I think due to the fact that the room was not oriented on the sunny side). But also in the room there was an air purifier. Breakfast was good, with a big variety. If we ever come back to Venice, we will stay there again."

If you require an early morning check out, be sure to let them know ahead of time. The gentleman on duty was down right rude to us and shared his displeasure of not being notified ahead of time of our 8am departure. Despite that encounter, I would recommend. "
