"Needed a hotel where I could leave a trailer. Extremely helpful when I phoned and equally helpful in sorting out afternoon tea even though their kitchen was shut. One of the best meals I have had at the restaurant especially when considering the price. Good breakfast choice. Grounds beautiful and resident peacock and peahen. Tranquil. Bed comfortable just needed to be a little careful of low ish beam in room."

"The bed was extremely comfortable and was the best part of the room. The amenities were nice and the room was as depicted in the photos. The welcome was pleasant but cooled somewhat once they realised we’d booked through Hotels.com. We were told we wouldn’t get breakfast because of it. That’s fine but perhaps phrase it as “so that’s room only tonight” instead. Noise carries throughout. "From the outside the property looked a bit tired but on entering we loved the friendly warm welcome. The ambiance in the bar and dining areas was so lovely and the choice of food really great - it was truly appetising! Wonderful stay - we’ll certain stay again if we’re in the area. "

"The room was slightly dated, but very clean. On arrival the room was cold, but there was an option to contact the owners to have the heating boosted if required. We were visiting friends nearby so didn't need to do so, and the room was lovely and warm on our return once the scheduled heating had started. Overall, we were pleased with our choice of accommodation "

"We loved everything about our stay here. It was so peaceful with beautiful surroundings and views. The room itself was very cosy with everything we needed and some extra little treats. We didn’t have to think about anything. It was very relaxing. The bed was so comfortable and the bath was huge. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back in the near future. "

"Lovely accommodation including spacious bedroom with en suite bathroom. Shared kitchen which is useful. More than ample parking which is free. In great proximity for Glastonbury, Wells, Cheddar, Longleat etc, 5 min drive to nearest pub restaurant. Friendly owners. Recommended."

"It has no restuarant or bar meals and nearest pub/eatery is miles away. Rooms are clean and recently painted but otherwise tired. Plumbing is a bit suspect."

"the one downstairs bedroom had no view which was sad, but no stairs, which was good! The TV was faulty and was fixed the next day, but then stopped working again. The breakfasts were amazing. The public car park was up a steep hill and pricey. The hotel had no out-side space, but the beautiful public gardens were very close"

"Good use of a small space, with a particularly attractive upper storey. Comfortable. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Parking is secure and it's extremely close to the Tor as well as to Glastonbury town centre - useful when visiting on a very rainy day! There is heavy traffic on the adjacent road, so if you're not used to this ear plugs might be useful (at least in the upstairs bedroom)."
